Bridgeport Mayor Joseph Peter Ganim is in his eighth term as Mayor of Connecticut’s largest city with a population of approximately 147,000 people.  After campaigning on a platform of open government, reducing crime, improving public schools, reducing property taxes and growing the economy and job creation, Mayor Ganim was elected by a wide margin on November 3, 2015 to a position he had last held in 2003. He continues to serve as Mayor having been reelected in 2019.

U.S Attorney General

Gustafson has been with the U.S. Attorney’s Office since 1997. For the last four years, he served as chief of the criminal division, and previously as supervisor of the District’s Hartford Office and Chief of the Organized Crime Strike Force.

Executive Director

Kingsley Ossei is the Founder and Executive Dir. of Connecticut Against Violence C.A.V. and currently the coordinator of The City of Bridgeport “My Brother’s Keeper” Initiative founded by former President Barack Obama. Kingsley previously worked in the music industry for various major record labels such as Sony Music, Universal Records, Loud Records and many others. He founded Connecticut Against Violence to use Hip Hop music culture as a way to engage the youth to prevent violence and provide them with alternatives.

SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS, CITY OF BRIDGEPORT

Michael Testani is the Acting Superintendent of Bridgeport Public Schools, a position he was appointed to effective August 1, 2019.  A Bridgeport native, Mr. Testani is a career educator and administrator in the Bridgeport Public Schools.  Over the past 20-plus years, he has held positions as a School Counselor and Administrator at the elementary, middle and high school levels. He has also worked as an administrator on special assignment for the Bridgeport Public Schools.
